Fort Bliss, TX — The "Pre-Best Ranger Competition" is a grueling test of braun and bravery aimed at finding the best and the most proficient military personnel in the US. Fort Bliss is finding out who among them is fit enough to take the test on a national level.
The five soldiers completed the combat water survival assessment test on Thursday morning and they did it without sleep.
They've been subjected to grueling physical tests like the water survival tests and a 12 mile foot march.
Officials say these challenges are important because they determine the best teams from the first armored division, Fort Bliss to compete in fort benning at the 30th annual David E Grange Best Ranger Competition.
