SOUTH EL PASO — U.S. Customs and Border Protection held a special awards ceremony today.
Service awards were presented to employees who have recently completed 20 to 35 years of service along with recently retired employees.
The program also includes graduation ceremonies for CBP personnel who recently completed Honor Guard and Peer Support Training.
Employees who have gone above and beyond their call of duty received special awards as well.
CBP is charged with keeping terrorists and terrorist weapons out of the country while enforcing hundreds of U.S. laws.
