Salt Lake City — It was safer walking than driving in Salt Lake City Sunday.
A winter storm blanketed the area and the snow and ice on the runways caused delays at the Salt Lake International Airport.
Plows were hard at working clearing the way for flights to resume.
And a jack-knifed truck on I-15 had the Interstate shut down for two hours.
Forecasters are calling for several more inches of snow in Salt Lake City overnight.
The same storm is expected to bring a half foot of snow to Northern Utah and deliver a foot of new powder to the mountains.
