ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The 15-year-old New Mexico teen arrested for the January deaths of his parents and three siblings has been indicted by a Bernalillo County grand jury, the district attorney announced.
On Monday, February 4th Nehemiah Griego’s criminal case was presented to a grand jury which returned five counts of first degree murder and three counts child abuse charges.
Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Nehemiah Griego on Jan. 20 following the shooting deaths of his father, mother, younger brother and two younger sisters. Griego has since remained in custody at the Juvenile Detention Center, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and remains held without bond, officials said.
Nehemiah Griego case is initiated and will proceed as though he were an adult.
