New Mexico State women’s basketball senior guard Camila Rosen was named Western Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 18-24. This is Rosen’s first WAC Player of the Week honor and the team’s second in consecutive weeks.
The Berkeley, Calif. native scored a career-high 19 points to go along with nine rebounds, a career-best six steals and two assists in an 87-81 win over CSU Bakersfield, the 600th victory in program history. She shot 66.7 percent from the floor (8-of-12) and 75 percent from beyond the three-point line (3-of-4) to lead the Aggies to their highest field goal percentage of the season with 50.8 percent on the game. Prior to the win over CSUB, Rosen averaged 3.5 points per game with 5.1 rebounds and 1.3 steals on the season.
