EL PASO — Organizers of the Neon Desert Music Festival are promising a bigger and better event this year.
The music fest will happen in Downtown El Paso on May 25.
Streets near San Jacinto Plaza and Cleveland Square will be closed to make room for the stages and vendors.
After hosting the event for the past two years, Neon Desert Executive Producer Gina Martinez said they are confident about this year's show.
"I think with just the experience of other events and other activities we've done, I think you're going to see a much stronger lineup, more people in attendance and overall just more people having a good time," said Martinez.
More than 12,000 people attended last year.
Martinez said they are also planning a West by Southwest event, as well as a summer concert series.
