Another cheating scandal has been confirmed in another El Paso area school district.
The San Elizario Independent School District said it ordered a review of enrollment and grade placement practices at San Elizario high school from 2008 to 2011 after an internal investigations raised red flags.
That investigation revealed that a former campus administrator manipulated grade placement practices and enrollment. That administrator is not being identified.
The Texas Education Agency also received a complaint about the district regarding the same issue.
In a statement, the district said the school board is reviewing the findings to "ensure that all issues are properly addressed to prevent similar situations in the future. The internal review is now being forwarded to the TEA."
