EL PASO — El Paso Police said they located 16-year-old Vivian Justine Cohn at a downtown shelter Friday. A citizen called police after seeing coverage of the missing girl to report that she had been staying at the shelter. Officers responded to the shelter and located Cohn who appeared to be in good health. Cohn has been reunited with her family.
The El Paso Police Department extended their gratitude towards the public for their assistance in helping locate Cohn.
Police earlier were asking for the public's assistance in locating Cohn, 16, who had not been home since March 15.
Officers said they arrived at her home after a family member reported she had left the home voluntarily. Relatives were worried that she was not receiving adequate medical care for her five-month pregnancy.
