A man accused in a cartel-related killing in east El Paso back in 2009 pleaded guilty to murder this week.
Christopher Duran, 21 was sentenced to 20 years in prison by Judge Gonzalo Garcia.
Duran was arrested in connection to the shooting death of José Daniel González-Galeana who was gunned down outside his home. After his murder officials said Galeana was an Immigration and Customs Enforcement informant and high-ranking Juárez drug cartel member.
Duran is the last of four people arrested to plead guilty.
