Las Cruces — Thomas Branigan Memorial Library seeks public input on how to improve services and to discuss the library’s role in the community.
The public is invited to two sessions:
• Pre-site tour of the library facility Tuesday, September 24, at 10 a.m.
• Public forum on Thursday, September 26, from 4 to 6 p.m. that will focus on key service areas: Usage of public and staff space, the library’s collection of magazines and newspapers, and the library’s budget. Library Administrator Lynette Schurdevin and library board members will be present at the meeting to hear from the public.
“We feel this is an important step to ensure that the library continues to meet the needs of the community,” said Schurdevin. “This process will help us plan for change and growth so we are able to continue to provide essential resources for Las Cruces residents.”
Thomas Branigan Memorial Library is located at 200 E. Picacho Ave. For more information contact Lynette Schurdevin, Library Administrator, at 575/528-4009 or email firstname.lastname@example.org .
