El Paso, TX (KDBC) — The German Air Force bids farewell to the 41st and final Oktoberfest in El Paso.
This will be the last year for the event because the German Air Force is disbanding its North American command at Fort Bliss.
Oktoberfest is an authentic German culture experience featuring German music, food, entertainment and, of course, real beer.
It's a three day festival and it kicks off Friday on West Fort Bliss.
A ticket is required for the first two days and unless you already have your tickets, you're out of luck because Friday and Saturday are sold out but Sunday is free and open to the public.
the fun starts at 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday and on Sunday, the fest will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
