A legal hearing takes place today (Monday) for accused Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. Tsarnaev is not expected to attend.
The Department of Justice is considering whether to seek the death penalty against him.
Tsarnaev has pleaded not guilty to charges he helped his brother place two bombs near the marathon finish line and later killing an MIT police officer.
The bombs killed three people and injured more than 260 others. Seventeen of the 30 charges Tsarnaev faces carry a possible death penalty.
