El Paso, TX — All-Region selection Anthony Rotich will be representing UTEP at the 2013 NCAA Championships at the Wabash Valley Family Sports Center on Saturday.
Rotich will be taking the course at 10 a.m. (MST) in the men’s 10K race.
The Kenyan native has been unstoppable in his second year with the Miners having posted five first place finishes out of seven meets this season while also garnering four C-USA Athlete of the Week honors.
Most recently, Rotich took second place at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships crossing the finish line with a time of 29:23.6 in the men’s 10K race.
Last year, the sophomore clocked in a personal-best of 29:13.5 in the 10K at the 2012 NCAA Championships. Rotich claimed fourth place as he beat 245 runners.
