Fabens, TX (KDBC) — El Paso County Sheriff's Deputies nabbed two alleged thieves in Fabens early Wednesday morning.
Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched to the 100 block of SE River in Fabens at approximately 8:35 a.m. Wednesday morning after a theft occurred.
Emergency dispatchers were able to provide a description of the two suspects in the case to responding Deputies. At approximately 8:50 a.m. the suspect vehicle was spotted about 10 miles away in the 15500 block of Gateway West.
Deputies identified Kevin Ely, 18 and Ricky Ward, 44 as the two suspects and were able to locate a stolen computer and charger.
Ely and Ward were both arrested and charged with theft of property over $50 and under $500, their bonds totaled $5,000 each.
