POLAND— What could be the world's largest grand piano was unveiled Thursday in Poland, and Guinness has been notified.
The piano, at two tons and more than 19-feet long, has the nation's attention, and is being prepared for its first concert.
The grand piano was built by Daniel Czapiewski whom normally builds wooden houses.
Data was sent to the Guinness World Records Headquarters after local officials measured the piano during its unveiling ceremony.
The piano was played by a contemporary Polish pianist for officials during the ceremony.
Poland has been celebrating the 200th anniversary of the birth of Polish composer Fryderyk Chopin, and even named 2010 Chopin's Year.
