Menzies Draws Interest From Tulsa

A pair of Tulsa Media outlets now make Marvin Menzies the favorite to become the new head basketball coach of the Golden Hurricanes.
Tulsa has been without a coach since Danny Manning left for Wake Forest on April 4th and the interview process has included names such as Bob Hoffman of Mercer and Bryce Drew of Valparaiso.  That pair have withdrawn  from consideration and Menzies names continues to be floated as a possibility.
Menzies has spent the last seven years at New Mexico State guiding the Aggies to four NCAA Tournament appearances with a 152-89 overall record.  He has three years remaining on a contract that pays him $286,000 per season.
KOTV and the Tulsa World both mention Menzies as favored to become Tulsa's head coach.
