NMSU sweeps UTEP for the first time since 2006

New Mexico State defeated UTEP Saturday night at the Don Haskins Center, 77-68, sweeping the season series for the first time since 2006. In the first game between the two rivals, Daniel Mullings scored 26 points to lead the Aggies. In this game, KC Ross Miller scored a game high 26 points, and the Aggies hit 29-43 free throws to pull away.

UTEP outrebounded NMSU 33-30, and was led by Cedrick Lang with 21 points, and Justin Crosgile with 11 points, but it was not enough.

NMSU improves to 5-1, while UTEP falls to 3-2.
