El Paso, Texas (KDBC) — It's three days before the Redskins meet the Cowboys and Tony Romo isn't close to practicing. The Dallas quarterback is receiving treatment for his injured back but can still play on Sunday even if he doesn't practice, accodring to Coach Jason Garrett.
"Just continuing to go through the process with Tony and just see how he feels every day waking up and evaluate him and treat him and see how that.. how he responds to it more than anything else and continue to evaluate him a lot of different ways, but more than anything else just treat him and see how he feels."
Romo isn't he only Cowboy who is injured. Dez Bryant left he field on Wednesday and did not practice Thursday after hurting his back.
"We going just continue.. we going to play our ball game. That's all we're going to worry about and I don't think none of us in here lost an ounce of sleep 'cause we all preparing and we ready to go for this ball game. Like I said, it's really hard that Tony went down, but we got to look forward."
Garrett added, "You know, a big part of the NFL is dealing with injuries at all positions. We've had a number of injuries at all positions like everybody else has.. and you just want to encourage everybody to do their job as well as they can do it. You get into issues when everyone wants to do someone else's job. So just focus on doing your job to the best of your ability with all your heart and might and hopefully the guy who steps in can do it as well."
