Flash Flood Watch in effect through 6:00p.m. Monday

Sunday, September 21, 2014 - 4:26pm

As Odile makes it's way back to the borderland, our rain chances continue to rise. We are expecting to see storms tonight into the early morning hours of Monday.

It's been only 4 days since Odile struck the borderland with heavy rain, which means our soils are pretty saturated througout the region.

A cool front will be aiding the chances for scattered storms with potential heavy rain.

Fore this, the National Weather Service of El Paso has placed the entire borderland, under a flash flood watch until 6:00p.m. Monday.

The latest rainfall forecast shows the potential for another 1 to 3 inches of rain across already wet portions of the region with a potential for flooding along arroyos, small streams and low water crossings.

Please get your sandbags ready once more as we brace our selves with this next wave of showers rolling through the region.
